

Born in 1971 at Hyderabad, India
Taranjeet Singh specialized in Direction and Editing during his Post Graduation Film studies at the University of Hyderabad. His Graduation Film
Nafs won a Certificate of Merit at the Santa Fe, New Mexico International Film Festival in 1995.
In 1995 he started his career as an Editor and Visual Effects Artist on the Henry and Avid with Western Outdoor Advertising, Mumbai, one of Indias leading Post Production facilities. He worked there between the years 1995-1998 and was involved in the Creative and Visual Styling for more than 500 Commercials and Television Packaging.
In 1997 he also started working on Visual Effects and Promotional Styling for Feature Films with Yash Raj Films
Dil to Pagal Hai followed by Dharma Productions
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in the subsequent year.
In 1998 he Directed, Edited and Styled the Making of the Musical
Yeh Hai Prem for Rajshri Music.
In 1999 he joined Yash Raj Films as Assistant Director, Editor and Visual Effects Director in the Aditya Chopra Directed
Mohabbatein.
He subsequently started working independently from the year 2001 and has Styled Promotional Campaigns for Television and Film for Ashok Mehtas
Moksh, Target Films
Dil Ka Rishta. He has also Directed and Styled the look for the Marathi TV Channel
Tara.
In 2002 he also Produced and Directed
Sarab Kala Samrath A Documentary on the Life and times of
His Holiness Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji. The documentary was also screened and awarded by the IDPA - Indian Documentary Producers Association, Mumbai in 2003.
In 2004 he worked in Trimurti Films as Associate Director to Rajiv Rai on his film
Asambhav as well as an Editor and Visual Effects Director.
He debuts as a Director in his first feature film It Could Be You in English.

He lives with his wife and works out of Bombay, India.
