With filming spread over several days across the cities of Sri Bhaini Sahib, Sri Jeevan Nagar, New Delhi and Mumbai, more than 20 hours of invaluable Historical films restored from 16mm/8mm formats dating back from as early as 1934, Speeches selected carefully from over 45 hours of thought provoking Preaching's / Speeches recorded in His Holiness Satguru Pratap Singh Ji's own voice, Sifting and Selecting from over 500 Historical Pictures, Through 100 minutes of Original Music Recordings, Over 500 hours of Editing, about 75 hours of Sound Design and about 4 years in the making... “Atal Pratapi” chronicles the life and times of the illustrious His Holiness Satguru Pratap Singh Ji, spanning the period from 1890 AD to 1959 AD.

Serving as a preamble are brief scenes depicting the start of the Kooka Movement in 1857 AD by Sri Satguru Ram Singh Ji, the Kooka Rebellion of 1871-72, The era of British atrocities and anarchy during the reign of Satguru Hari Singh Ji following the Malerkotla Massacre of January 1872 by the British.
With reflective interviews and insight of His Holiness Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji, Pandit Gopal Singh Ji, Late Sant Jaswant Singh (Africa) and with the major portion of the narrative in Satguru Pratap Singh Ji's own voice along with special tributes paid by luminaries of the time Master Tara Singh Akali and several others. This is an effort to bring to you some of the most reflective efforts of the “Kuka Movement”.
